Why include maintenance?

Some information of why it is worth including a maintenance package and points to consider should you choose not to.

Your vehicle will most likely need servicing, ongoing repairs and replacement tyres due to Wear & Tear. In the unfortunate events of needing replace tyres due to punctures, and should a breakdown occur, you'll need the service of a recovery agent.

If you choose to include a maintenance package, then all the above is included for a fixed monthly cost. If not, then it will be your responsibility to cover all the costs as and when they arise.

Including this ensures:

  • No surprises and unwanted large bills.
  • You are covered in case of a breakdown or puncture.
  • You can receive help from nationwide coverage.
  • Funders negotiate competitive labour rates so that overall costs should work out less than you can achieve yourself.
  • Ability to have the car collected and dropped off or use of a courtesy car.

If you choose to not include please consider the below points:

  • The vehicle must be serviced as per the manufacturers schedule, by not doing so you can invalidate the warranty and attract end of contract charges.
  • You are potentially going to be hit with sizeable repair bills.
